Andrea Zakheim-Poetsch
Registered Music Together teacher, 2007.
Andrea has a Bachelor of Music from Temple University where she studied piano and voice. Andrea's involvement in theater, television and film spans over 25 years. Her career as a music educator began 20 years ago. She was a back-up singer for the late Rosemary Clooney and has appeared in commercials both locally and nationally. Andrea has also performed in and directed many community theater productions.
Andrea's history with the Music Together program started 8 years ago. Each of her children began attending as 11 day old infants! She obtained her teaching certificate in July 2007 and started teaching Fall of that year. As of Wednesday, June 25, 2008, Andrea became the new Director/Owner of Music Together of Ocean City/Egg Harbor Township!! She's looking forward to continuing the legacy of the wonderful Music Together program!

Sandra Zakheim-Nord

Sandi has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University and a Master of Education from Rutgers University. Sandi has been a teacher at the George Hess Educational Complex in Mays Landing since 1999 and she divides her time between her and husband Jeff’s home in Princeton and the beaches of Margate. Her music background started while singing and playing flute in elementary school choir and band. She has also played the role of assistant director to sister Andrea in theater productions such as “Bye Bye Birdie”, “12 Angry Jurors” and numerous other shows.
Sandi fell in love with the Music Together program when she started accompanying her nephew and niece to class from the time they were infants. Music Together combines three of her loves… teaching, music and children! “Music Together brings some of the most wonderful people into my life, sharing some of the most amazing experiences while being silly and having fun. I fell in love with this program a long time ago and love sharing it with children and parents!”
Joey Catalano
Joey Catalano was born and raised in South Jersey. He has been singing since he was a young Music Together child's age! After graduating High School in 2000, l he competed in "The World Championship of Performing Arts" in Hollywood, California where he competed against 35 different countries across the world! He received gold medals in both the Pop/R&B and Gospel categories. He also won the entire male 18-24 category for all genres of music! After returning home he opened his own recording studio and began recording his own original music and has been doing so ever since.
Television appearances include, MTV's "Say what Karaoke", UPN's "Gimmie the Mic Philly", Fox's "30 Seconds of Fame" and most recently Fox's smash hit, "American Idol season 7". His musical career has also included fronting multiple private party bands including area favorite "Cheers the Band". Joey has also taken his own small group bands into various casino lounges and clubs all over south jersey and Philadelphia and even NYC!
After being blessed with a beautiful daughter of his own in 2008 he discovered the Music Together program for himself and immediately fell in love with it! Because of his genuine love of music and huge heart for children he figured what better way to combine the both! He is extremely excited to be involved and working with Andrea and is looking forward to playing what he feels is a " Wonderfully integral part of children's lives by helping educate and enrich them with one of life's most greatest treasures, Music!"
